Vanilla stabilizer

This product is added to handmade soap to prevent staining (darkening) of soap due to the presence of vanillin or its derivatives.

Many soap fragrances contain vanillin or vanilla extract. These products can cause soap to color (brown to black) over time.

Application: Vanilla Stabilizer is used in a ratio of 1:2 with respect to fragrance (for example, 5 drops of Stabilizer are needed for 10 drops of fragrance). With a high content of vanillin, a ratio of 1:1 is recommended. Mix Vanilla Stabilizer with fragrance for 2-3 minutes and then add to soap. The mixture must be used within 15 minutes.

Storage : The product must be stored at room temperature, tightly closed. The product may crystallize at temperatures below 10°C. In this case, it is necessary to place it in a warm room, after a while the product will return to a liquid state. Crystallization of the product does not affect its properties.

Important: The smell of the Vanilla Stabilizer does not affect the smell of the final product. Transparent formulations: shower gel, liquid soap and others - do not require the use of a Stabilizer. It is recommended to use a stabilizer in white product bases: lotions, creams, salts and others.

Perfume Vanilla: adding fragrance to soap 2% wt. The content of Vanillin/Ethyl Vanillin in the fragrance is 8.5%. Perfume/stabilizer ratio 1:1.
